(Montgomery, TX — Sept. 29, 2011) Woodforest is congratulating marketing director Kristi Steward on her win of “Marketing Professional of the Year-Developer” at the Sept. 24 Houston’s Best Awards, presented by the Greater Houston Builders Association.
The win was one of two for Woodforest, which also earned “Best Internet Marketing Campaign-Developer” for its “Spring into Fun” initiative earlier in the year. The development also was a finalist in several other categories.
A native Houstonian, Steward has been marketing director at Woodforest since 2007. She previously was marketing director for Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, and has handled real estate accounts for several Houston advertising agencies.
“We have the hardest-working development team in the business,” said Steward, “and this award wouldn’t have been possible without them. It’s definitely a group effort and I’m happy not only to receive this type of recognition, but also to celebrate the community’s success. We’ve introduced so many new builders this year and have opened new neighborhoods and amenities, and our sales are reflecting those achievements.”
