After nearly 50 years in a single Conroe location, Conroe Golf Cars is expanding into a second location at 810 Pine Market Avenue, Suite 920 in our Pine Market retail center.
The store had a soft opening Dec. 1 with about 20 golf cars in the 2,400-square-foot showroom.
“We’re so excited about this new location,” said Sonia Hatherley, Rental Manager. “The Pine Market showroom is twice the size of our main showroom in Conroe. We wanted a location in a growing area and Montgomery is expanding rapidly. An added plus is that Woodforest is a community built for golf cars — you can purchase in Pine Market and drive home.”
Conroe Golf Cars sells a variety of brands of golf cars, with Club Car, EzGo and Evolution being the most popular.
“Our electric Evolution golf cars are selling so fast right now that we can’t keep them in the store,” Hatherley said. “The D-5 Series is street-legal, has a Lithium battery, forward-facing seats in back and a back-up camera.”
Hatherley said there’s a lot of interest in refurbished golf cars, as well.
“We completely refurbish cars from golf clubs, adding custom bodies, seats, accessories and even sound bars,” she said.
While the Pine Market store focuses on sales, the 9-acre main location offers other services, such as repairs, parts and rentals.
“The collective knowledge of our management and employees is impressive,” Hatherley said. “Many of them having been doing this for over 30 years.”
