Woodforest Development has contracted with the TIPLER Group to complete the build-out of the final phase of Pine Island, a luxury gate-attended golf course neighborhood in Woodforest.
Upon completion of the homesites in late spring 2024, the TIPLER Group will have exclusive rights to acquire the final 30 custom homesites in the Pine Island Estate District. In anticipation of the new lots being delivered, The TIPLER Group has already launched a reservation program and secured reservations.
Ten of the homesites range from a half-acre to 1.5 acres along the Woodforest Golf Course. There will be 20 interior non-golf lots, including 16 corner homesites that range from a quarter acre to a half-acre each. The TIPLER homes will be custom designed and tailored for each lot setting.
“Gated and attended, heavily wooded and nestled within the west nine of private Woodforest Golf Club, Pine Island has always been a destination for those looking for luxurious living and privacy since its inception in 2016,” said Virgil Yoakum, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Woodforest. “This final section offers an interesting mix of generous homesites — the largest we’ve ever had in Woodforest — allowing TIPLER’s talented architects abundant possibilities in the design of these custom homes.”
TIPLER is one of the initial builders in Pine Island, building a showcase home in the gated neighborhood when it opened in 2016 and subsequently became the exclusive builder in sections two and three. Since then, TIPLER has sold 26 homes in Pine Island, featuring homes priced from the millions.

When complete, Pine Island will accommodate approximately 83 homes.
In addition to custom homes, Woodforest offers townhomes and single-family homes — including those designed for people ages 55 and above — priced from the $300,000s from nine builders. Eleven model homes are open daily.
