Pine Market Kicks Off Summer Concert Series May 3

May 02, 2024

Pine Market in Woodforest is celebrating all things country music when their Summer Concert Series kicks off 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3.

Featuring local country artists, the concerts will take place on the first and third Fridays of the month through July at the Park at Pine Market, 885 Pine Market Avenue in Woodforest.  The concerts are free.

"We are very excited to be hosting these concerts," said Cameron VanNorman, Events and Marketing Coordinator for Pine Market. "We've got a fantastic line-up of artists. On top of that, families will be able to dine at our wonderful restaurants or get in some shopping before the concerts start."

The series gets underway May 3 with the country music stylings of Zach Jones & The 45's. The Cool Water Band will take the stage May 17 to head up the retail center's Boot Scootin' Boogie event. Four-time Texas Country Music Association Songwriter of the Year winner the Will Carter Band will play June 7. Attendees can tap their toes to traditional country and folk music from the James Hollingsworth Band on June 21. The Western Express will perform their unique brand of honky tonk July 5. The series concludes July 19 with a blend of country, rockabilly and bluegrass performed by the Michael Monroe Goodman Band.

The concert series is one of many events hosted by Pine Market. More than 30 shops and restaurants have opened in the retail center with more on the way.
