Nature is Our Calling Card

There’s a reason our community is called “Woodforest,” and that’s because you see nature’s beauty around every corner. Parks and playgrounds — and we have a lot of them! — are designed to preserve old-growth trees.

Parks

First-time homebuyers to empty-nesters can find beautiful homes suited to their lifestyles. Parks and playgrounds are nestled under canopies of trees. Sports courts and fields are busy with young and adult athletes — and of course their cheering fans. Pools and the splash pad chase back summer heat. The grocery store — and pharmacy and salon and so much more — are a golf cart ride away.

Everett's Peak Park

This park in Woodforest honors Everett, who is one of the community’s original employees. Everett oversees all the infrastructure and amenity construction in Woodforest — including Everett’s Peak Park. The park has three play areas. At the park’s center is a shady open area with benches, tables and café lights strung in the shape of a star. A water fountain for two-legged and four-legged residents also has been installed.

Stampede Sportsplex

The first phase of Stampede Sportsplex offers three soccer fields. The two regulation fields and one junior field are perfect for league practices and informal play. Plus, lights allow for activity after the sun goes down. The sportsplex is also home of the Houston Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club. Future phases will include other active sports amenities.
