David Weekley Debuts New Models

October 26, 2021

David Weekley Homes just added something new to Woodforest — two beautiful model homes showcasing their farmhouse chic designs in the Kingsley Square neighborhood.

The builder chose The Parma, at 238 Thistle Drive, as the representative floor plan for homes situated on 42-foot homesites. With a cozy front porch tucked behind Craftsman-style pillars and a wood-and-stucco elevation, the home bursts with curb appeal and is sure to put a smile on any homeowner’s face.

The interior is thoughtfully laid out, taking advantage of every square foot of space to provide comfort. A study, located near the front of the home, can be made private with optional French doors. The space is flexible and could make an excellent playroom as it is located across from the two secondary bedrooms.

The great room is spacious with high windows allowing natural light to brighten the kitchen, dining area and family room. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the family room offer a view of the covered patio. The patio can be extended into an outdoor living area as demonstrated in the model. The kitchen is stunning with an oversized island, cabinets accented with glass-fronted doors and a custom backsplash.

The primary suite also overlooks the patio and boasts a beautiful bath with an oversized shower, dual sinks and large walk-in closet.

Homes designed for 42-foot properties are priced from the $315,000s and feature Woodforest’s first-ever alley-loaded garages, preserving the streetscape and minimizing traffic. Homes range from 1,511 to 3,094 square feet.

At 242 Thistle Drive, home buyers can tour The Danbridge, a floor plan designed for 50-foot homesites.

Optional tray ceilings crown the impressive entry, study and primary suite. Secondary bedrooms are located near the front of the model ensuring that adults are not disturbed as they relax in their bedroom. The generously sized suite is well lit and features a large bath with dual sinks, an optional “super shower” and massive walk-in closet.

The study is situated near the great room, allowing parents to keep an eye on children playing or doing homework. Optional French doors are available to enclose the space so Zoom meetings are not interrupted.

The open floor plan includes a large family room backlit by a wall of windows, dining area and gorgeous kitchen. The kitchen island can seat four comfortably while the chef prepares a meal.

Homes on 50-foot homesites are priced from the $365,000s. The range from 1,912 to 3,050 square feet and offer more traditional front-loaded garages. Many plans include retreats than can flex into game or media rooms.

The Kingsley Square neighborhood is centrally located in Woodforest, just a short walk or golf cart ride away from the Shops at Woodforest, the Harvest Market “grocerant” and other conveniences found at Pine Market. The Forest Island tennis and aquatics complex, The Palm recreation center and Lily Pad Splash Park are all just down the road. Located in the neighborhood is Kingsley Park, a popular gathering space with lawn games, an outdoor kitchen, community harvest tables and café lights.
